Even Escape Room Owners Like to Play

One of the things I love to do is play escape rooms, and as an escape room in Stone owner, I have the chance to play a lot. I'm not going to be writing reviews for other games as I don't want it to seem disingenuous, but I'm happy to let you know where we've been.

A friend and I went to Exciting Game in Birmingham and played Shelter-Z. It was a zombie-themed room with lots of jump scares and fun times. We really enjoyed ourselves and escaped in 53 minutes!

Horror Rooms

Horror rooms are a popular staple for most escape room companies, and some companies only have horror rooms. We will be opening our own horror escape room in Stone shortly called A Human Wolf, and it will be around until November so get ready to book for a fabulously scary adventure. So what makes horror rooms so engaging? I think it comes from an enjoyment of escape rooms and theming, which horror can do so well. It can also allow an additional sense of panic or tension as not only do you have to escape before time runs out, but generally with something scary chasing or interrupting you.
